Professor Cho serves as Programme Director of MSc in Disability, Design and Innovation since 2021 and he is a founding member of MSc DDI. This Master’s programme is hosted by University College London (UCL) – a global top 10 university – and delivered in collaboration with Loughborough University London (LUL) and University of the Arts London (UAL). The programme is uniquely sitting at the leading edge of disability innovation, helping students to become a pioneer in disability innovation and a specialist in assistive technology and inclusive design. One of the strengths of the programme is its diversity, which values students from computer science, occupational therapy, user experience design, international development, human computer interaction, product design, neuroscience, diplomatic service, medicine, disability activism and many other disciplines.
It is noteworthy that the programme is run at the ground-breaking UCL East campus (UCL in East London). UCL East is “bringing together UCL academics, students, local communities and industry to solve the biggest challenges affecting people’s lives and the planet – today and into the future“: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate/taught-degrees/disability-design-and-innovation-msc
